Deleting your Lune account
Last updated 5 August 2026
This page is for the app Lune
(com.lune.stories). Deleting your account erases it, every
child profile on it and every reading record — permanently, immediately,
and with no way to undo it.
In the app — immediate
Open Lune → Settings → Delete my account. You'll pass the parental gate and a confirmation, and then it is done.
By email — if you'd rather, or if you can't sign in
Write to taleodevacc@gmail.com from the email address the account uses, and ask us to delete it. Sending it from that address is how we know the request is yours; if you can't, we'll ask you something else that only the account holder would know.
We complete these within 30 days, and normally within a few days. We'll email you when it's done. Please don't include your child's name in the message — we don't need it.
What is deleted
- Your account and its email address
- Every child profile — names and avatars
- Every record of which stories were read and which choices were made
All of it goes at once. There is no deactivated state, no grace period and no backup copy kept for later.
If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple that the account is gone, so Lune stops appearing in your Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple. Apple asks you to confirm this once, in the app. If it cannot be done at that moment — no signal, or you dismiss Apple's prompt — your account is deleted anyway.
What is not deleted, and why
- Your subscription. Apple and Google run the billing and only you can cancel it — see the support page for how. Deleting your Lune account does not stop the charges.
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and our billing provider. They keep these independently, as tax and accounting law requires of them.
